Time Off
Paid Time Off
Paid Time Off (PTO) covers vacation, personal sickness, family sickness, doctor appointments, family activities, and personal time.* It is earned each pay period beginning at hire.
*Employees of Private Trust Group of America have a separate time off policy. See Human Resources.
**At Trust Sourcing Solutions, this applies to Managers and Exempt Employees.
Extended Sick Leav
Extended sick leave (ESL) provides salary continuation for absences of four or more consecutive business days due to an employee’s personal illness, non-work related injury, or other medical condition, including
pregnancy and childbirth. ESL is available the first of the month after 90 days of employment. Employees with less than one year of service are allowed up to six weeks of ESL. Employees with greater than one year
are allowed up to 12 weeks of ESL. Employees also may be entitled to leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), which will run concurrently with ESL granted under this policy.
Maternity Leave
Employees with more than one year of service may use ESL for the first eight weeks of maternity leave. Then, if the employee wishes to use her full FMLA entitlement of up to 12 weeks of leave, she will use earned paid
time off (PTO) before taking unpaid leave.
Other Time Off (All Business Units)
Paid holidays are provided. See your business unit’s policy for the holidays that apply to you. Paid jury duty and bereavement leave are also offered.
